Holiday Savings & New Year's News

Hello All!
It's been awhile since we last talked - we've been so busy
helping clients - I promise to get back on track though in
touching bases much more often. Have most of you met Abraham Liebsch, our
latest Lawyer/Consultant? Abe is a 2005 Marquette Law
School grad who
joined us several months ago. He's a geniune computer programmer by
background and all-around technology wiz - he's helping our clients with

Year - end for 2005 is
approaching and things are getting hectic for all of us. Everywhere I go
someone is scrambling to get things done or running off to a holiday
shopping sale somewhere. In my small world of Practice Management and Time
and Billing, there are two significant goings-on I wanted to tell you about
before it's too late.

In keeping with the season, the

TABS/PracticeMaster v.12.2 Is Here Now!
Yeah! If you are on STI's
maintenance (and isn't everybody ? ), the new version is free to
install. It's a really impressive interim update with lots
of features asked for by real users. Some of the enhancements
include: HotDocs 6 integration with Practice Master and the elimination of
that annoying Outlook integration message in many instances.
Drill - down editting capabilities have been added to both the
Trust and Accounts Payable Modules. All good stuff. Let's get
these updates installed. I'd love to help and share my enthusiasm, so
give me a call. Oh, and don't forget your year-end Tabs reporting,
archiving, etc.
Metadata - It's Scarier Than Ever
If you haven't seen our
"How NOT to Commit Malpractice With Your Computer" CLE program,
you should at least download the free PDF materials from our website.
The Word Metadata crisis has reached really serious levels. If
you're sending out Word documents without removing the hidden Metadata
information lurking beneath the surface, you're going to get in serious trouble.
And worse, if your clients are doing this, all that hidden information
is discoverable in litigation - and they're going to blame you for not
warning them. We've been helping our clients protect themselves for several
years using the leading Metadata removal software. It protects you
when using Word, Excel and PowerPoint. You should really ask me about
how to fix this before it bites you and your clients.
